A collection of memorabilia—tickets, posters, programs, collector's edition vinyl—designed for Opera Saint Delphine's Spring premiere of Henry Purcell's Dido and Aeneas. Inspiration for the theme is taken from Jessye Norman's haunting 1986 portrayal of Dido. Pairing abstract expressionist motifs with the classical mythology source subverts expectations of the material and supports Opera Saint Delphine's vision for an eccentric, modern adaptation of Purcell's Baroque masterpiece.
